The Northern Health Science Alliance (NHSA) has published a new report entitled Child of the North that describes a widening  inequality gap between children in the north and south of England.

The report suggests that children in the North have been disproportionately affected by the covid-19 pandemic, that the “child of the north” is more likely to die under the age of one, more likely to live in poverty, more likely to be obese.

The full report is available on the NHSA website.
