"Dawn is the Chairperson of our Pre-School. She has always given 100% to supporting me as the Manager and doing the best for the staff.

During the COVID19 pandemic, Dawn has worked tirelessly to ensure all necessary staff are furloughed and to ensure that the Pre-School has enough money to survive. All of this is completed in a voluntary position.

She has been a total lifeline to me as a Manager and I am proud to say she is our Chairperson and over the years that we have worked together, a very close friend."

"In spite of day to day challenges, Steph continues to provide a high level of care and support for our key children, ensuring they have an exciting and inspiring day. "She has put everything into setting up a nursery from scratch that serves the community it is situated in. She has gone above and beyond for many of the families and has become a trusted ear to many.

During the recent times she has moved her and her family into the nursery due to another family members health risks so that she can continue to provide a high level service to those in need including the most vulnerable in the community as well as front line staff."

"I am the owner of the nursery and was self isolating when we were asked to close except for keyworkers. Zoe managed to contact all parents and establish their needs very quickly, redo all the staffing requirements and help organise all the communication. She did all of this, without complaint and continues to work in the setting, attending every day rather than her normal working pattern. She continues to innovate and help us think about the right thing to do for the children in our care. A true Early Years hero!"

"Aaron is a huge support for the Early Childhood sector, not just for work colleagues and students but for all; he gives freely of his time in helping create useful and inspiring resources, and articles that are of great benefit for all professionals working in the industry.

On a personal level, he supports other professionals, helping where he can so they can move forward, providing support and most important of all giving his time and being at the end of a phone to advise and help where he can, but most important of all, listening and comforting when the individual is undergoing a personal or professional 'crisis' and then providing further support where he can. Thank you Aaron for all that you do."
