This course considers why children behave the way they do and how we can respond appropriately. Viewing all behaviour as communication, we explore how children’s emotions underpin their actions and responses. In addition to learning strategies for supporting children’s behaviour, you will learn emotion coaching techniques and explore how co-regulation with children can help them to self-regulate.
