The Future of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Conference

Thursday, 9.30 AM to 3.30 PM
November 9, 2023

Join our timely conference to discuss the future for SEND in light of the recent publication of the SEND and AP Improvement Plan. With many key proposals outlined in the plan not expected to be rolled until the end of 2025, we will explore what schools and settings can do now to continue to tackle current challenges in providing high quality support for children who have SEN and complex SEMH needs.

What will new national standards for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) look like? Consider how to develop a truly inclusive curriculum and environment to help more children remain in mainstream education. Explore the intersectionality of SEND and other protected characteristics.

Join us at this in-person, full day event to hear from expert practitioners and best-practice examples from across mainstream, SEND and AP settings, local authorities, health and community services. Take this opportunity to network with peers and education leaders and gain clarity on the plans to improve SEND and AP.

We look forward to bringing you the programme and speaker line-up announcement shortly.
