Aim

To ensure participants understand who is most at risk, identify the risks and how to support children.

Participants will be able to:

• To explore the topic of self-harm and suicide ideation
• To raise awareness of terminology, risk factors, signs and indicators.
• To understand the action that needs to be taken immediately.
• Increased understanding of where to refer children and the support available.
• Understand when to hand over to other agencies.
• Understanding of professional boundaries
• Explore what support is needed for the professional.
