Paediatric First Aid 

Who should attend?

Anyone working out of schools, pre-schools, playgroups or in full day care settings and caring for the under 8s (meeting OFSTED requirements).

What will I learn?

Awareness of situations likely to occur when looking after children which require First Aid. Appropriate strategies for successfully resolving them.

Pre – requisites:
Our courses provide a practical approach. This hands-on training delivers the skills and confidence needed for real life First Aid.

Candidates must:

• Attend the full course to be eligible for assessment
• Be physically capable of handling the practical elements of the course

Course Content:

• Insight into regulations
• CPR (Infant and child)
• Choking
• Anaphylaxis (including the use of epi-pens or similar)
• Resuscitation
• Croup
• Shock
• Bandaging
• Record Keeping

Successful participants will obtain an RB Health & Safety Solutions Certificate. This recognised certificate is valid for 3 years.
