  • To explore strategies to help children with sensory overload and sensory seeking behaviours.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Know what is meant by Sensory Processing Disorder
  • Know all the senses we have
  • Have a better understanding of the how senses can impact on every aspect of daily life.
  • Have an understanding of sensory seeking and sensory avoidance
  • Understand that the strategies used with other children may not work.
  • Explore strategies to help a child with sensory overload and sensory seeking behaviour.
