This course will enable learners to reflect on their environment, focusing on the experiences to extend learning and development through environments rich with lose parts, sensory play, light tables, and other stimulating resources. It will allow you to reflect and evaluate your role in providing learning experiences within a positive and inclusive environment

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the training delegates should be able to:

• Explore the enabling factors that create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn through play
• Understand the value of unrestricted play opportunities with environments rich with loose parts, sensory play and light tables
• Create invitations to play discussing the learning intentions, implementation and impact of learning experiences provided
• Reflect on your role in providing learning experiences within an inclusive environment, and positive interactions with the children and their families
• Evaluate your practice through discussion and a complimentary Enabling Environments audit tool
