Bristol & Bath ECHO branch event – Enabling Emotional Resilience

Positive relationships are crucial for children in developing emotional resilience and recognise strategies for sustaining co-regulation. We’ve all been struggling over the last couple of years but those of us working with young children and their families are seeing the impact that the stress and uncertainty of these times are having on our youngest citizens.

Anne’s relevant and timely CPD session, concerned with promoting children’s holistic well-being, will focus on why their experience of attachment and bonding is more important than ever. She will explore how positive relationships are crucial for children in developing emotional resilience and recognise strategies for sustaining co-regulation. The different ways children communicate their anxieties and experience of trauma through their behaviour will be illuminated, along with helpful ways of responding – rather than reacting – to behaviours that challenge us.
